The Mexican Hat plant is known for being a prolific producer of small plantlets that grow from the mother plants' leaves!

Temperature:

Keep at room temperature between 15-25 degrees.

Lighting:

Keep in a position receiving bright light with exposure to Sun. They are therefore perfectly suited to a south-facing windowsill.

Watering:

Allow the first 3cm of soil to dry out before watering.

Propagation:

The Mexican hat plant is also known as the mother of thousands. This is due to the plant reproducing on mass! They will grow small immature plantlets from the circumference of each leaf as they mature. Break these away from the mother plant and scatter on the surface of soil. They will soon take root and develop into mature plants.
