Living Stones

Lithops
Lithops_edited.jpg

Lithops are native to South Africa and Namibia and known as the living stones. They are drought tolerant and store vast amounts of water in their fleshy leaves and tap roots.

Lighting:

Keep in full to partial sunlight. They will do best in a south-facing window.

Watering:

Lithops need very little water compared to other succulents. During the winter after flowering, your plant will shed its leaves – they shouldn’t be watered at all in this dormancy period and you should wait until new leaves appear.

Temperature:

Keep within 15-25 degrees.
